The Welsh Government’s Young Person’s Guarantee provides everyone between 16 and 24 in Wales with the offer of support to gain a place in education, training, or an apprenticeship, find a job, or become self-employed.
The guarantee provides help with:

- Job searching and help through the application process
- Starting your own business

Wellbeing support
We know sometimes things can feel stressful. You may feel anxious and under pressure, but you’re not alone. There’s lots of organisations to help and support you, like:
- Young Minds(external website). They offer mental health support to young people
- NHS Wales Silver Cloud(external website). A self-help service for young people aged 16+ through personalised content, tools and support. You can also get support through NHS Wales by calling 111 and pressing option 2
- Meic Cymru(external website). A helpline service for young people up to the age of 25 in Wales. You can chat to them on the phone, WhatsApp, online chat and text
Other support is available from Mind Cymru(external website), Hopeline247 - Papyrus(external website) and Samaritans Wales(external website).
