Organised by: Learning Disability Wales Annual Conference 2020. Sponsored by Careers Wales/ Working Wales with sessions being delivered by various organisations.
The theme of this year’s conference is loneliness and isolation, both of these currently being very emotive subjects.
Through prebooked sessions, the on-line event will aim to:
- explore what loneliness and isolation are
- highlight the problems and effects of loneliness and isolation
- showcase what is being done to reduce loneliness and isolation in Wales
Working Wales will be presenting an overview of the employability support we can offer to anyone aged 16 and above and not in full time education. Join us at 10am on Tuesday 17 November.
For more information and to book your place on sessions visit the Learning Disability Wales website.
The annual conferences are always a lively and inclusive place where disabled and non-disabled people contribute and participate as equals. It will celebrate good work as well as raising awareness of the problems many people face. Visit our 2019 conference page to see what goes on.
Careers Wales are taking part in but are not organising this event. We aim to ensure that our contribution to this event is as inclusive and accessible as possible. If you are interested in attending our session within this event and you require any additional support to register and attend, please contact email@example.com before the event. However, as we are not the event organiser, we cannot guarantee how accessible the event overall will be.
